The whole street has this month been put up for sale. 21 Victorian terraced houses are up for grabs since Robin Ashworth decided to cash in on what has become a lifetime's work of acquisition and renovation.

Robin Ashworth, a local property developer, bought his first house on Balmoral Place in the 1960s and proceeded over the years to buy the remainder of the street.  This collection is a not only unusual but also unique piece of property.  Calderdale seems to be full of luxury mill conversions and new apartments, but who can say they have a historical piece of VictorainYorkshire in their portfolio?

With a guide price valuing each property at around ?120,000 no doubt this is a bargain to those out-of town developers (perhaps not so good a deal for those of us who live in the area and are finding it harder to find affordable properties).  Needeless to say, Mr Ashworth could be in pocket to the tune of at least ?2,000,000.00 yes TWO MILLION POUNDS.  It is estimated that Balmoral Place brings Mr Ashworth somewhere in the region of ?500/day in rental income.
