Frank Worthington
Frank Worthington, Football Star
Frank Worthington was a flamboyant character both on and off the football field. During his playing career he played for 11 different clubs and scored over 200 goals. He played for England eight times and was one of the great football entertainers of his time. He joined Huddersfield Town in 1966 and played 166 games, scoring 41 goals. Worthington continued to play league football into his 40s and continues to work in football by writing a column in the Huddersfield Examiner.
